Smallville Keeps Going and Going and Going and…
Smallville will be a mainstay at the CW for many years to come if the CW’s Entertainment President Dawn Ostroff has anything to say about it.
At this years Televisions Critics Association Summer Press Tour, she offered up a few nuggets about the future and direction of Smallville past season 9.
“I hope it’s not last season. The producers have done a great job. Coming up with really good storylines this year. Zod appears this year. Clark has to save the world. The show has a lot of life in it and the cast is very excited. We have high hopes for it staying on the air for awhile.”
On Lex Luthor -
“I wouldn’t rule it out, but I don’t know if it will happen this season. I don’t know if we really actually had a conversation with Michael, but I think the idea was to keep the character alive and make his presence really felt.”
